We are very proud of our NJ-TF1/USAR members for successfully completing their NJ-TF1 Urban Search & Rescue Red Team Drill. This operations based exercise was designed to establish a learning environment for NJ-TF1’s 200 volunteer members to exercise emergency response plans, policies, and procedures as they pertain to structural collapse rescue.
NJ-TF1 members demonstrated the use of the search and rescue dog teams as well as confined space rescue and extraction techniques for the media on Friday, April 17, 2015.
NJ-TF1 would like to thank its local, state, federal and private partners for their assistance in facilitating this year’s NJ-TF1 Urban Search & Rescue Red Team Drill. Special thanks to: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Emergency Management Accreditation Program, NJ & NY National Guard, Local 825 Operating Engineers, NJ Department of Transportation, NJ Transit, i-150th AHB & Louis Berger Group, Inc.
